BASKETBALL : KLEIN COLLINS LEADS THE WAY

KLEIN ISD BASKETBALL PROGRAMS EARNED THREE OF THE FOUR BOYS’ BASKETBALL POSTSEASON SPOTS AS KLEIN COLLINS (25-10) WON THE DISTRICT FOLLOWED BY KLEIN OAK (24-13) AND KLEIN HIGH (18-14). Klein Oak made school history in year one of the Joshua Ervin-era, advancing to the Region Finals. Klein Collins reached the Regional Quarters, while Klein fell in the first round of the playoffs. Twins Eli and Ethan Wyatt were named Co-MVPs for the district and Coach Scott Harmatuk was the Coach of the Year. On the girls’ side, Klein Collins (26-5) swept through the district going undefeated, but bowed out in the first round. Klein Oak earned the fourth spot in district with an 18-16 record.
