led the Panthers (31-13 overall) to the district’s third-place finish. Both the Tigers and Panthers fell in the first round of the postseason, but it was a resurgence for each program. Klein Oak leaned heavily on seniors Gracie Campbell and Maggie Ellender to lead the way for the Panthers. Klein (21-22 overall), Klein Cain (12 22) and Klein Forest (8-27) were on the outside looking in on the playoff picture.

AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF NOT REACHING THE POSTSEASON, THE KLEIN COLLINS TIGERS (33-13 OVERALL) FINISHED SECOND IN DISTRICT 15-6A PLAY AS KLEIN ISD’S TOP VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM. The Tigers could be even better next season as setter Anna Blaine, libero Olivia Murillo, hitter Kristina Cote and middle Ashlynn Hollis all return to the den in 2023.
