• These High Current Test Sets are built for field or shop use. Designed using the latest technology; these units combine a variable high current output with the ap propriate controls and instrumentation. • The test set is ideal for testing thermal, magnetic, and solid-state motor overload relays as well as molded-case circuit breakers and ground fault trip devices. They can also be used in many other applications requiring a high current source. • The HC1 provides a short duration output of 1000 amps througha typical 150 ampere molded-case circuit breaker when an instantaneous trip element must be tested. • The HC2 is capable of a 2000 amp instantaneous output. Sufficient current is available for testing the time delay characteristics of motor overload relays and molded case circuit breakers.

• The Phenix Models HC3 and HC5 Mobile High Current Test Sets are ideal for testing thermal, magnetic, and solid-state motor overload relays as well as molded-case circuit breakers and ground fault trip devices. The units are constructed with large pneumatic wheels for mobility in the roughest terrain. • Designed using the latest technology; these units combine a variable high current output with the appropriate controls and instrumentation. • The test sets have a maximum output current rating of 4000 and 5000 amps respectively and feature a digital ammeter and timer. The timer displays in both cycles or seconds modes. • They can also be used in many other applications requiring a high current source.
