AFL/ FUJIKURA 41S+ ACTIVE CLADDING FUSION SLPICER KIT

The AFL S017091 Fujikura 41S+ Fusion Splicer Kit offers the CT50 fiber cleaver with Bluetooth connection and automated blade rotation. It is used for single or ribbon fiber. The fusion splicer features Warm Splice Im aging (WSI) loss estimation technology and dual-camera active V-groove fiber alignment. It provides 6-second splicing in SM mode and 25-second shrink time. The 41S+ is used with SM, MM, DSF and NZDS fibers, from 125µm cladding diameter up to 3mm coating diameter. It offers 10,000 results storage, 5-16mm cleaves length splicing, 100 splice and 30 heating modes, 2 axis 2CMOS camera, 5" touchscreen monitor, plus PC connection via USB. It is shock, dust and moisture resistant. The S017091 kit includes the 41S+ fusion splicer, CT50 cleaver, sheath clamps, set plates, AC adapter, BTR-11A battery pack, power cord, spare electrodes, manual on CD, Quick Guide, single fiber stripper & case.

Protection sleeves are used when fusion splicing two fibers together. It is meant to protect the splice joint after the splice is complete. They come in 60mm and 40mm for single fiber and 40mm for ribbon fiber.
