Though chal lenging, he says, that parade prep “was incredibly rewarding to see the payoff—a city and region coming together to celebrate a championship a long time in the making.” He came on board there five years ago as an executive assistant and now helps execute 15 annual events, special events, and other tasks. “Entrepreneurship,” he says, “is not just about taking advantage of opportunities as they come, but about creating opportunities that never existed.”
