Ingram's December 2022
HIGHLIGHT | 2022 PHILANTHROPY AWARDS LUNCHEON
The Warmest Day in December Toasts KC Philanthropy
A typical end-of-year chill outside did nothing to distract from the warmth inside Mission Hills Country Club on Dec. 6, as Ingram’s recognized the contributions of individuals and corporations with its annual Philanthropist of the Year Awards. Nearly 200 attended the luncheon celebration as the Philanthropist of the Year Award was presented to Peggy and Terry Dunn. Last year’s honorees, Mick and Marlys Haverty,
made the introductions for that award before recognition of the extraordinary lineup of the 2022 Local Heroes and Corporate Champions. The luncheon fol- lowed that morning’s Philanthropy Indus- try Outlook assembly (see assembly report on Page 45), which gathered non-profit executives, funders and volunteers to address the state of philanthropy in one of the nation’s most charitable cities.
