Madrono The staff of the Madrono used a color palette for this book, and it is showcased in the early pages with color FS\IW HIƼRMRK PMRIW ERH bold headline typography. Adding a gray drawn map anchors the elements of the spread, while offering a visual indication of the content that readers can immediately notice before checking out the photography and reporting. The effort to loosely place stories near the general locations they are near on the globe is a nice touch. 2. Truly, it is a rarity to see Leap Year coverage. After all, it only happens once every four years. Even asking about it or bringing up the topic allows for a minor yet intensive detail as a historical record of the year. VC
