By including this many faces, The Notus can incorporate as much of its student body as possible, which is exactly what the readers want to see when they open the book. By localizing the struggles of a popular college team in the area, the staff tied in news outside of school impacting the student body. The modules tie in topics like fantasy football, summer trips and a popular concert, which can be tough to cover for staffs. The use of courtesy photos helps include these timely moments that yearbook photographers could not be at.
