New Member Benefits
Here’s some great news for members about a change coming in 2020! Next year, financial members of Degree of Honor will be eligible to apply for a wider array of member benefits than ever before!* Effective January 1, 2020, this brand new package of member benefits will replace those currently offered to Degree of Honor members. Here’s an example of just some of the benefits that will be available:
Educational • Catholic Grade School Scholarship – $200 towards the cost of tuition. • Catholic High School Scholarship – $500 towards the cost of tuition. • College Scholarship – $1,000/$500 towards the cost of tuition at a university/technical college. Financial • Member Rewards Program – Offering discounts at hundreds of national and local merchants. • Estate Planning Benefit – Up to $50 for the preparation or updating of estate planning documents. • Uninsurable Child Protection Benefit – Offering $7,500 of rated Whole Life coverage for an uninsurable child who is between the ages of 60 days and 15 years. Spiritual • Retreat – A reimbursement of up to $100 for members who participate in a Christian retreat. • Sacramental – Commemorative gifts in celebration of Baptism, First Communion, and Holy Matrimony. • Christian Summer Camp – A reimbursement of up to $100 for
Wellness • Medic Alert – Free first-year membership, including an identification bracelet or necklace. • Prescription Savings Program – Savings on brand and generic medications, vision and hearing care, and more. • Special Needs Benefit – A reimbursement of up to $100 to be used toward the cost of a therapy
program, summer camp, or the purchase of an adaptive device.
Volunteerism • Impact Teams – Empowering
individual members to organize a team service project to benefit their community, with financial support from the Home Office.
