WHAT MAKES THIS FLOOR UNIQUE: This 280 square foot floor was made using Gaboon ebony, English sycamore, massaranduba, sapele, and Brazilian ebony. The border used Macassar ebony, padauk, birds eye maple, bocote, and pink ivory. The original handmade 3D parquet floor from 2005 was worn down to bare wood in some areas and in general, not well- maintained. Several of the parquet were replaced due to water damage from an unknown source. The parquet was repaired with new squares, and the floors were sanded and refinished.
