PART ONE: CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALS (CP) ANNUAL UPDATE MEETING | 8:00 – 10:30 A.M. NWFA Certified Professionals are invited to explore the latest developments within the NWFA’s certification programs. This informative session will cover ongoing initiatives, new directives, audit findings, program updates, volunteer opportunities, and more. We all know that manufacturing wood flooring is a proprietary yet similar process, but there are products being introduced to our industry that do not fit the norm. Learn from a panel of industry experts about the unique properties of the atypical wood flooring products they represent, such as modified wood, impregnated wood, reclaimed material, endgrain flooring, extreme wide widths (12”-24”), extreme long lengths, and more. Discussions will include manufacturing challenges, as well as common challenges when installing, inspecting, or maintaining this type of flooring.
