29. Jeff Saroyan VP/General Manager Saroyan Hardwoods HUNTINGTON PARK, CA Jeff Saroyan and his brother, J.R., are leading the future of Saroyan

In 2004, Patrick Russell started sanding floors. Though he worked in other fields along the way, he always gravitated back to wood flooring. Likely because Russell says he loves the feeling that comes with taking something that doesn’t look appealing and turning it into something amazing. Russell is now entering his eighth year as the owner of All American Floor Sanding & Installation. One of his favorite projects involved showcasing the uniqueness of heartpine in a home where it had been harvested directly on the property. This wood was worked into a stunning basket weave pattern bordered by live edge slabs in the home’s foyer. Russell prioritizes passing on that passion to his children, so they’ve attended training classes with him. He also shares his knowledge and talent with industry friends by advising and traveling the country to help with projects. All of this explains why he’s been described as devoting his life to family, friends, and wood flooring.
