2025 PRECISION PATTERNS: MEDALLIONS & PARQUETRY
MAY 13-14, 2025 PALO DURO HARDWOODS DENVER, COLORADO
“The training was top notch,” says Joe Lott of Mountain Impressions Hardwood Flooring in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. “It can be a bit nerve wracking when you go in with other professionals that are at the top of their game, but when you get there, it’s not intimidating. The camaraderie that you get and bouncing ideas and techniques off of each other, you pick up so much more besides the school.”
This two-day in-person course is designed for experienced wood floor professionals and was led by Lenny Hall, NWFA Regional Instructor and owner of Endurance Floor Company. Attendees learned how to produce a variety of medallion styles by hand, including symmetry of medallions, mosaics, and other decorative elements that become the focal point of the flooring design. They also created parquet patterns by hand, including developing and utilizing sleds and jigs, and installing them in any application.
