THE DATA BEHIND WOOD FLOORING’S Sustainability Story

One of the many benefits of wood floors is that the raw material used to make them — trees — is sustainable. Under good forest management, trees are replanted before or after they are cut down. This process replaces the material that is harvested today and ensures it will be ready again for future generations to do the same. The same is simply not true for other flooring materials.
