BASIC LEVEL TRAINING Principles of Wood Flooring

Four-day introduction to the installation, sanding, and nishing of wood oors. is course includes hands-on training and a classroom presentation introducing students to all aspects of the wood ooring industry, including the tools used, plus installation, sand, and nish best practices. ree-day hands-on training and classroom presentation. is course includes safety, an introduction to installation tools, exploring the many elements of job site preparation, and a variety of installation methods used when installing solid and engineered wood oors, including nail-down, glue-down, and oating. Installation INTERMEDIATE LEVEL TRAINING Sand and Finish ree-day hands-on training and classroom presentation. is course covers the entire sanding process, each piece of equipment, their proper uses, and basic maintenance. Training includes sanding di erent ooring types and species, sanding multidirectional oors, and resanding and recoating factory nished oors. Students will use a variety of stains, sealers, natural oils, waxes, colorants, reactive conditioners, and nishes, scraping/texturing, repairs, maintenance coats, and di erent nal coat applications and methods. Four-day hands-on training and classroom presentation. is class, led by some of the best in the industry, includes speci c training on some of the specialty skillsets required to become a Certi ed Master Cra sman. e skillsets taught at this level include circular/curved applications, marquetry/intarsia, inlays, medallions, parquet, and wood bending.
