Frank Erramuzpe came to Gilbert in the 1930s and married Flora Locarnini, a local girl.The Locarninis had established their home in Gilbert in 1913. Erramuzpe was a sheep farmer who raised his sheep in Gilbert in the wintertime. He herded his sheep north to the Mogollon Rim area in the summer for grazing in the cool country. The Gilbert stockyard shown at right is thought of as an outlet for cattle grown in the area, but it was also used by sheep farmers.
