Exhibitions Love & Rage: Munroe Bergdorf (Olivia Cappuccini) Docu. follows the British model through her transition and career struggles. My Dead Friend Zoe (Kyle Hausmann-Stokes) Drama about an Afghanistan veteran who clashes with her family due to the ghostly presence of her lover Zoe, who died in the war. Sex Love Venice (Steve Balderson) Romantic drama finds a heart broken Michael in Venice, where he tries being a slut, then meets a man who opens his heart to a new outlook on life. The Visitor (Bruce LaBruce) Sex comedy about a refugee who’s taken in by a wealthy English family and seduces each member in turn, leaving a void in their lives when he disappears. The Wedding Banquet (Andrew Ahn) Comedy stars Bowen Yang as a gay man who arranges a green-card marriage to his lesbian friend— whose family decides to throw a Korean wedding banquet. Queen for a Day Play imagines an encounter between gay fashion designer Halston and Queen Elizabeth I, who commands him to cre ate her death gown. Bramble Arts Loft in Chicago, July 9–Aug. 3. A Strange Loop Drama about a gay Black writer who’s writing a musical about a gay Black writer who’s writing a musical about... Moss Theatre in Richmond, VA, thru Aug. 9th. Éamon McGivern: A/History New portraits by the San Francisco artist capture people as remembered and recorded in SF’s GLBT Historical Society Archives, which is the site of this exhibit.
