GLCC 75th Anniversary

I walked the grounds of Green Lake, With Jesus by my side, And gazed upon the beauty Which nothing dared to hide. I looked upon the greensward And saw some people there, With faces lifted upward, In silent golden prayer. I felt the strength of Green Lake In the stillness of the night, The water beat upon the rocks, As if sealing its own might. I knew that God was present And was watching over all. Through the majesty of nature I seemed to hear His call. I heard the voice of Green Lake Echo sweetly, God is nigh, I saw Him in full glory Looking through the vesper sky. I felt the warmth of Green Lake Through friends I learned to know, The future seems much brighter When you see the life they show. I want to prove its greatness; And so it is my prayer, That God shall surely use us Who have found His presence here.
