Hello from Katy ISD and the Fulshear-Katy Area! If you’ve had the chance to experience our thriving community, it’s easy to see why folks continue to call this area “home.” Families move to the Fulshear-Katy Area for top-rated schools, family-friendly neighborhoods, and an abundance of opportunities for personal and professional growth. In fact, Katy ISD is one of the fastest growing school districts in the state — projected to serve more than 100,000 students in just four years. Though, even with this rapid growth, the quality of learning Katy ISD offers students is uncompromised. In addition to the state-of-the-art education our talented and passionate teachers and staff provide, Katy ISD students have access to an array of opportunities ranging from career and technical education, agricultural sciences, fine arts, athletics, and student organizations. Our students routinely outperform their peers across the state. It’s because of these opportunities and outcomes that Katy ISD consistently sustains an “A” rating from the Texas Education Agency, is ranked the #1 school district in the Houston Area by Niche’s annual educational report, and consistently earns a “Superior Achievement” rating from the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas. And I would be remiss without noting that the District’s success is largely a result of the support and dedication of our entire school-community that is inclusive of parents, senior citizens, business partners, and others invested in the Fulshear-Katy area. Katy ISD has more community volunteers serving our campuses than any other school district in the state. Our community, without a doubt, deeply values education. So, whether you have been a lifelong resident, or are looking for a new place to call home, you’ll find that the Fulshear-Katy area is a special place.
