Fulshear-Katy Community Guide 2024-25

f r om WELCOME LAMAR CISD

Hello Lamar CISD Community, As superintendent, I am proud to lead a community that values tradition, education, and excellence. A place people want to call home. Our District stretches across 385 square miles of Fort Bend County and 15 municipalities. For the 2024 2025 school year, we will serve more than 45,000 students at 52 campuses. We are once again the fastest-growing school district in Houston, and we have been placed in a unique category of “hypergrowth,” according to our latest demographic report. Currently, the District has two zones with more than 700 new home starts, three zones with more than 300 new home starts, and three zones with 150 to 300 new home starts — we are equivalent to three fast-growing districts. As we continue to break new ground, we have made it our mission to hire and retain the best people in all of Texas to teach our students. It’s important that we remain a destination District for students and families of all backgrounds. We are committed to providing a safe, engaging learning environment where every student feels supported, encouraged, and celebrated. True success starts with the people — staff, students, families, and you. Additionally, we believe in the power of community, and we invite you to connect with us. To get involved with the District, please visit our website at www.LCISD.org, email us at Info@LCISD.org, or call 832-223-0000. On behalf of our District and the Board of Trustees, I thank you for being here and being a part of what makes this community an exceptional place to live, work, and learn. Sincerely yours

Roosevelt Nivens, Ed.D. Superintendent of Schools Lamar Consolidated Independent School District
