Welcome to Fort Bend County! Most of the Katy-Fulshear-Simonton area is Unincorporated, so law enforcement services are provided by the Sheriff’s Office and Constable’s Office. If you live inside the cities of Fulshear or Katy, then you are served by fantastic police departments. Additionally, all of our area school districts, Fort Bend, Katy, and Lamar, maintain their own law enforcement agencies that are dedicated to protecting our schools. All the agencies listed above work hand in hand to keep the Katy-Fulshear area a great place to live. We are conveniently located at the intersection of FM 1093 and the Grand Parkway, along with the Justice of the Peace, County Commissioner, and the County Tax Assessor. As your representative in Congress, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Katy-Fulshear area. Fort Bend is one of the most diverse counties in the nation, with outstanding schools and friendly neighbors. I am honored to serve as your voice in Congress. My wife, Jill, and I are raising our beautiful family here and continue to live, attend church, and volunteer in this community. Before serving in Congress, I served the Twenty-Second Congressional District of Texas in law enforcement and served our country for 21 years in the U.S. Army Reserve. During my eight years as Sheriff of Fort Bend County, burglaries were reduced by 60%, aggravated assaults were reduced by 27%, and robberies were reduced by 31%. I remain committed to serving our district with the same diligence I served our county and country, and I hope you will reach out to me if you need assistance.
