As Mayor of the City of Katy, and on behalf of the city government and our citizens, it is an honor to welcome you to the City of Katy. While we are a vibrant and growing community, we are committed to maintaining a small-town atmosphere, striving to keep the traditions and heritage of Historic Katy alive. We pride ourselves on being a family-oriented community. Our highly-rated schools, churches, parks, safe and family-friendly neighborhoods, and state-of-the-art medical facilities are extraordinary. Public safety is vital to our community and our Police Department and Fire Department are outstanding. The Katy Heritage Museum and Park, the public library, our unique shops in Historic Downtown Katy, and the Railroad Park and Tourist Center are just a few of our historic places of interest that we hope you visit and explore. A two-mile boardwalk around the 80-acre wildlife pond near Katy Mills Mall is under construction and should prove to be a welcome expansion to our City and its residents.
