T he Fulshear-Katy area is home to several run by people who show their community roots in how they treat their customers, who are often their friends and neighbors. Many of these venues make special family-friendly provisions – games, bounce houses and nonalcoholic drinks – and are pet-friendly. Braman Winery & Brewery brings its products under one roof to a rustic tasting room and ex tensive deck space in the Fulshear-Katy area. She opened the area’s only fruit-based winery in March 2019. Her wine creations have earned prestigious awards, proving that ErmaRose’s customer base is receptive to its unique wines. She continues to expand the family owned business named after her grandmothers with retail sales onsite, online and in retail locations. “ The suppor t of the Katy community has been outrageously wonder ful. People here have an open mind to what wine can be,” Jennifer said. The menu currently includes its award-winners Cranberry and Masked Gorilla. Stop by for a wine tasting without a reservation.
