Welcome to the Fulshear-Katy-Simonton area of Fort Bend County! Most of this area is unincorporated so law enforcement services are provided by the Sheriff ’s Office and Constable’s Office. If you live inside the cities of Fulshear or Katy, then you are served by fantastic police departments. Additionally, all of our area school districts, Fort Bend, Katy and Lamar, maintain their own law enforcement agencies who are dedicated to protecting our schools. As your Member of Congress, it is an honor to welcome you to the Katy-Fulshear area. You are now part of a unique community within the Twenty Second Congressional District of Texas. Fort Bend is one of the most diverse counties in the nation, with outstanding schools and friendly neighbors. I am humbled to serve as your voice in Congress. My wife, Jill, and I are raising our beautiful family here and continue to live, attend church, and volunteer in this community. Prior to Congress, I served our district for nearly 30 years in law enforcement and served our country 21 years in the US Army Reserve. Most notably, in my eight years as Sheriˆ of Fort Bend County, burglaries were reduced 60%, aggravated assaults were reduced 27%, and robberies were reduced 31%.
