AUSTIN BULLDOGS AHS is back on the scene, following an impressive Fall season in 2023 that was highlighted by the Kristin Goodman-led volleyball team which placed second in the district prior to reaching the playoffs and finishing the year with a record of 27-17. On the gridiron, the Bulldogs experienced one of the best showings seen in recent memory, as they came within inches of securing their first playoff berth in nearly a decade, and will look to do so this time around. Under the direction of coach Shaun Moore, the tennis program brings back the talents of Nina Gerlovich, Larkin Nguyen, Ishha Desai, Saïd Bennaji and Emily Thai. On the trails, expect Gabriel Pontes and Audrey Debraine to be the frontrunners for Austin after putting up respectable performances at last year’s district meet. Additionally, the girls water polo team recently took silver in the district and now eye the first place spot, while the boys continue to grow in their third year as a varsity program.
