DULLES VIKINGS Regarding the majority of the school’s Fall sports, the Vikes will have the ambition of re-entering the district conversation in 2024. In his second year with the program, coach Bill Garrey is still integrating a new culture within Dulles football, and will lean on the veteran leadership – namely from Micah Owens (Sr. DL), Divine Chinagozim (Sr. RB) and Austin Elam (Sr. LB) – to steady the course. The volleyball team is still finding their footing, but Addisyn Duncan (Jr. MB), Gabrielle St. Louis (Jr. RS) and Reina Brown (So. MH) should provide some spark for the young squad. Both water polo programs are gradually coming into their own, as they enter year No. 3 since being established, while Aidan Hernandez and Anyxa Franklin return to the fold for coach Chad Macik’s cross country team. One of the big bright spots for Dulles this year will surely be the respective tennis clubs, with coach Kayla Matthews at the helm.
