BUSH BRONCOS Friday Night Lights return at Bush, as the cheer squad, band and diligent athletic trainers prepare for another season of intrigue. While they have yet to return to the postseason since 2021, there is cause for optimism on coach Allen Aldrige’s roster as he brings back several skill-position players such as Michael Richard (Sr. WR), Caleb Edwards (Sr. RB) and Antione Eakins (Sr. WR). The Broncos volleyball team still has some work to do, but should be in good hands with coach Alori Sheppard directing. Meanwhile, the GBHS cross country team will look to build on their performance at district from a year ago, with the likes of Allen Tovar, Ariana Infante, Joselyn Garcia and Serai Nyan leading the charge.
