Amerant Bank Named Official Bank of the Tampa Bay Rays, FTL UTD

A merant Bank announced a multi-year strategic partnership with the Tampa Bay Rays, making Amerant Bank the “Official Bank” of the team. This is the fourth major sports franchise that has partnered with Amerant – the Florida Panthers, the Miami Heat, the Miami Marlins and now the Rays. “We are excited to enter into this multi-year partnership with the Tampa Bay Rays,” said Jerry Plush, Chairman and CEO of Amerant Bank. “We see this partnership as another great opportunity to align Amerant with a terrific franchise that embodies the history and culture of Tampa Bay.” The bank also announces becoming the Official Bank of Fort Lauderdale United FC (FTL UTD) – the region’s only professional women’s soccer team – which will participate in the USL Super League’s inaugural season beginning this month. “At Amerant Bank, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting initiatives that drive equality and opportunity,” Plush said. “We are excited to be part of the USL Super League’s inaugural season and look forward to making a lasting impact on the sport and the South Florida community.” This announcement follows closely on the heels of Amerant unveiling its newest brand ambassador, top-ranked world long drive golf professional Averee Dovsek, underscoring the bank's dedication to elevating female athletes.
