Congratulations to the 52nd Graduating Class of the Florida School of Banking
T he Florida Bankers Association would like to congratulate the 52nd Annual Florida School of Banking graduates! Since its creation in 1969, more than 3,000 students have graduated from the Florida School of Banking, better prepared to contribute to the managerial duties of their institutions. Many of these graduates have risen to become presidents and CEOs of numerous Florida banks. This school is intended to provide bank personnel at the supervisory and officer level the opportunity to increase their knowledge about the banking industry and the economy. The Freshman class curriculum is designed to give students a basic understanding of the banking process. Students returning as
Juniors leave theory behind and dig into practical lending-related topics. The graduating Seniors are given a unique opportunity to apply all they have learned in the previous two years by participating in a computer-simulated banking environment. It’s realistic and much like a typical market environment in any city across the state. Please mark your calendars as the next session of the Florida School of Banking is scheduled for August 5-12, 2023, and will be held at the Reitz Student Union on the University of Florida campus.
