Describe your role for the FBA. As the Assistant Vice President of Government Affairs, I work as both a Federal and State lobbyist alongside Anthony DiMarco and Kenneth Pratt on the Government Relations team. While the role changes depending on the time of year (Legislative Session, election season, etc.), it entails engaging with elected officials in order to promote the legislative interests of the FBA. Favorite thing about the FBA? The organizational culture is very close-knit and welcoming. The atmosphere in the office is a happy one and people go out of their way to help one another. I joined the FBA in October and have only had positive experiences thus far in getting to know everyone here. How do you spend your free time? I love spending time outdoors! Recently, I explored the underground caves at Florida Caverns State Park

and visited the waterfalls at Falling Waters State Park. Growing up in St. Petersburg, I spent a lot of time at the beach, on a boat or in a kayak. I love a good adventure, and Florida has plenty of them. Do you have pets? Yes! I recently adopted my first pet, a rescue cat named Stella. She prefers to be curled up on my lap at all times and can become quite vocal whenever I need to divert my attention from her. She’s a diva. What’s something you want to learn? How to invest my money, how to accurately budget, and how to effectively build credit. Luckily, it seems like I am in the right place to learn!
