DID YOU KNOW? DID YOU KNOW... digital wallets are the fastest-growing payment method in the United States? A digital wallet, also known as an e-wallet or mobile wallet, is a type of financial transaction app for one’s computer, phone or smart device. According to a J.D. Power survey, nearly half of U.S. consumers (48 percent) said they had used digital wallets in the past 90 days, up 12 percentage points from 2023. Among consumers who have used digital wallets, 40 percent have used PayPal, 28 percent have used Apple Pay, 22 percent have used Venmo and 19 percent have used Cash App Pay. At the same time, only 57 percent of small businesses currently accept digital wallets, compared to the 94 percent that accept physical cards.
