S anibel Captiva Community Bank has donated $50,000 to the Fort Myers Beach Chamber to support its ongoing work to help Fort Myers Beach businesses recover and rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. The funds will help aid Fort Myers Beach businesses, with a focus on helping island residents who were unemployed in the wake of the disaster. Michael R. Dreyer, president of The Tampa Bay Trust Company announced two recent moves, one of which included the company’s office move within the same building at 4488 Boy Scout Boulevard across from International Plaza, nearly doubling its previous space. The 8,100-square-foot space has offices and meeting rooms for an expanding team and growing number of clients. “We are very pleased with this new environment,” Dreyer said. “We had outgrown our space due to several new strategic hires made over the last couple of years. This will allow us to provide comfortable and productive surroundings for our employees and an enjoyable experience for our clients and colleagues.” A separate, comfortable lounge is specifically designed for small-group and client roundtables, and a well-appointed break room and fully functioning kitchen provides ample room for staff and is ideal for catering during on-site client events. “The Family Office division continues to attract more multigenerational client families, particularly business owners who bring complex financial relationships,” said Terence M. Igo, CEO. “Their new dedicated space provides that team with a collaborative environment and the execution of services required by such families.” The Tarpon Springs office moved to a historic home as its new, larger space at 53 W. Tarpon Avenue next to the Tarpon Springs Visitor Center.

The 2,500-square-foot house was built in 1900, and although it now serves as a commercial space, the charm and welcoming atmosphere remains, providing clients with a unique and enjoyable experience. Louis N. Pappas, senior vice president, Family Office Services, will manage the office for the Tarpon Springs market and surrounding communities. “Louis has done an excellent job of both serving the community and working with residents in the area to provide counsel on their wealth management needs,” Dreyer said. “This stand-alone space in the heart of town is not only close and easily accessible, but also well-suited for meetings large or small where family members can meet comfortably and discuss their financial futures.” The Belleair Bluffs office expansion is underway and due to be completed this summer.
