U.S. Century Bank Recognized as Top Performing Small-Cap Bank

For the second year in a row, U.S. Century Bank’s parent company, USCB Financial Holdings, Inc. was named among the U.S. banks and thrifts recognized by Piper Sandler, an independent investment bank and financial services company, in its Sm-All Stars Class of 2025. The annual list identifies top performing small-cap banks in the country. First Bank announced the results of its annual fundraising campaign benefiting Harry Chapin Food Bank, raising a total of $38,685, which will help provide approximately 77,370 meals for children, families and seniors across Southwest Florida. Branches across Clewiston, LaBelle, East Fort Myers, Moore Haven, Belle Glade and Immokalee collectively raised $12,895. The Belle Glade branch earned top honors for generating $8,200 of that total. In a major show of support, First Bank matched donations at double the amount, contributing an additional $25,790. “I am very pleased with the results of our fundraising drive,” said Andrew Couse, President and CEO of First Bank. “Hats off to our First Bank team for going above and beyond in the effort. HWSN is a group within SFLHCC focused on empowering, supporting and connecting Hispanic women in business and leadership. The luncheon celebrates the strength, leadership and achievements of women in the community. Dr. Levitan serves on the board of U.S. Century Bank, headquartered in Miami, which has $2.8 billion in assets and is one of the largest community banks in Florida. She served as chairman of the board from 2017 to 2021. Levitan founded the Coalition of Hispanic American Women. As founder and president of ArtesMiami, she champions Hispanic arts and culture and serves on several boards, including the Perez Art Museum Miami and Facts About Cuban Exiles (FACE).
