Sanibel Captiva Community Bank Announces New Hires Walter Sanchez joined Sanibel Captiva Community Bank as a Credit Analyst at the bank’s operations center in Fort Myers. Sanchez has more than 15 years of experience in commercial, industrial and commercial real estate underwriting, credit analysis and investor relations experience. Before joining the bank, he was an officer and commercial credit analyst at a global financial services company. Sanchez graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with a bachelor of commerce degree in accounting and finance. Jared Laez joined the bank as a teller at its Bridge Branch in Fort Myers. Laez is responsible for assisting customers with personal and business banking transactions. Before joining the bank, Laez held a teller position at a regional credit union. His background also includes experience in the customer service industry. He is a student at Florida Gulf Coast University, pursuing a degree in business marketing. Tara Farlow joined the bank as a teller at the bank’s Main Office on Sanibel. Farlow is responsible for assisting customers with personal and business banking transactions. She has an extensive background in the hospitality and service industry, having held retail and server positions in Southwest Florida, Maine and Pennsylvania. Naiomi Santiago joined the bank as a teller at its Downtown Fort Myers office. Santiago is responsible for assisting customers with personal and business banking transactions. She has a background in office administration, customer service and the retail industry. The bank hired Taylor Hultquist as a junior loan underwriter at the bank’s Winkler Branch in Fort Myers. Hultquist has nearly a decade of financial services experience, including positions as a loan administrator, loan officer assistant and banker with regional financial institutions and mortgage companies. She will assist in reviewing and analyzing borrower information, preparing credit packages and supporting the underwriting process. Taylor Joins Community Bank Eric Chambless, Chief Executive Officer for Community Bank’s Coast Region, announced Sawyer Taylor joined the bank’s Pensacola office as President, Escambia County Division. Taylor brings eight years of experience in the banking and finance industry. He most recently served as President, Jones County at the bank’s Laurel location. A Laurel native, Taylor is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor in ag business, with minors in economics and business administration. Additionally, he is a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and Mississippi School of Banking. TD Bank Streamlines Regional Structure, Expands Florida Leader’s Role TD Bank announced it will consolidate its Mid-South Metro segment into two newly defined regions, the Mid-Atlantic Metro and Southeast Metro. Regional President Rob Curley, a 36-year TD Bank veteran, will lead the Mid-Atlantic Metro, and the Southeast Metro will be led by Regional President Nick Miceli, who brings 28 years of experience with the bank. Their decades of experience provide a strong foundation for the regions’ continued momentum. The Mid-Atlantic Metro will include Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. The Southeast Metro will serve North Carolina through Florida. Existing leadership within these areas, including the Carolinas, will remain in place, ensuring continuity for clients.
