PERSONAL TRANSACTIONS City National Bank of Florida Adds Senior Bankers, Appoints Young as CCRO
Caldwell Trust Company marked a milestone with the grand opening of its newest office in Vero Beach. The celebration brought together company leadership, community members and esteemed guests to commemorate the occasion under the campaign theme: Legacy Has a New Address. The event featured remarks from several key leaders, including R.G. “Kelly” Caldwell, Jr., President, CEO and Chairman of the Board. Caldwell was joined by Vero staff members David L. Osgood, AWMA®, Executive Vice President and Director of Vero Beach; • Alexander Canelas, First Vice President, Real Estate Relationship Manager. Canelas brings nearly 15 years of expertise in commercial real estate and credit risk, including 13 years at CNB. He has a strong track record of managing large loan portfolios and crafting financing solutions across various property types. City National Bank of Florida (CNB) added five seasoned professionals. The new hires build on the momentum of the bank’s recent growth — having added 72 new team members in the last quarter — underscoring the bank’s commitment to delivering tailored financial solutions to clients across Florida. CNB’s newest team members include: • Lenya Suarez Rojo, Managing Senior Vice President, Business & Personal Banking Executive. Suarez Rojo is returning to CNB after more than 15 years. She will oversee CNB’s banking centers, spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and elevating the client experience. • Kevin Miliffe, Managing Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Director. Miliffe previously served as Executive VP and Head of Commercial Real Estate. He will lead a team charged with expanding CNB’s presence in Broward and Palm Beach. • Stephen King, Senior Vice President, Senior Real Estate Relationship Manager. King, who is also returning to the bank, has extensive experience helping clients navigate complex real estate transactions. He has led lending teams and structured deals across a range of asset types with institutional and high-net-worth clients.
• Richard Foster, First Vice President, Real Estate Relationship Manager. Foster works closely with municipalities, investors and business owners to manage loan and deposit portfolios. His focus is on building strong client relationships and supporting growth through practical, service-oriented banking. The bank also appointed Nicolas Young as Chief Credit Risk Officer. With close to 30 years of experience in domestic and international credit risk management, Young brings a proven track record in developing and managing robust credit programs and will support CNB’s continued growth across Florida. In his new role, Young will oversee all credit-related activities and will lead a team of senior risk and credit professionals responsible for credit administration and asset recovery. He holds a bachelor of science degree in economics from Universidad ORT Uruguay. Hugo Loynaz, CNB’s former Chief Credit Officer, will transition to the role of Chief Lending Executive, where he will be responsible for new business and loan originations. Since joining CNB 15 years ago, Loynaz has been instrumental in helping grow and position the bank as one of the leading financial institutions in Florida. With a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering innovative credit solutions, he will play a key role in guiding the bank through its next phase of growth.
