The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company Sponsors 15th Annual FISH 10K/5K and Music Festival

T he Sanibel Captiva Trust Company served as a sponsor for the 15th annual FISH 10K/5K and Music Festival that took place Saturday, Dec. 2 to benefit FISH of SanCap. Hundreds of people took part to help support the food assistance programs, island education programs, social and senior services, and financial assistance programs operated by FISH. The event featured 10K and 5K races as well as a children’s fun run and after party. That evening, a concert was held at the beach at Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa on Captiva. More than 500 runners participated in the race, including The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company's office presidents Jeff Muddell (Sanibel) and Megan Marquardt (Fort Myers). FISH was launched 40 years ago from the kitchens and vehicles of island residents who wanted to make their Sanibel-Captiva community a better place to live, work and visit. Today, the goal of FISH continues to be offering services that can assist, educate and enrich the lives of the island residents. FISH is able to continually meet the needs of the community through the help of volunteers and the generosity of donors – with 93% of every dollar spent going directly to the organization’s programs and services.

“Sanibel-Captiva is our home,” said Muddell. “We are honored to be able to sponsor this exciting event that brings so many people together to support the island’s needs.” Craig Holston, portfolio manager; Jason Chiklakis, trust officer; Megan Marquardt, Fort Myers office president; Jeff Muddell, Sanibel office president; Carolyn Rogers, wealth services advisor; John Costello, trust and estate attorney; and Ann Pankow, trust officer.
