Sanibel Captiva Trust Company Rebrands, Celebrates 25 Years in Business The Orlando Business Journal named One Florida Bank as a Best Place to Work in the Large Company Category. This recognition — the bank’s fifth year in a row — reflects the company’s strong culture and collaborative environment. The bank said credit for the recognition goes to its employees — its greatest

The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and its divisions of The Naples Trust Company and Tampa Bay Trust Company have rebranded as Florida Trust Wealth Management. Formed 25 years ago, the trust company now has offices in Sanibel, Fort Myers, Naples, Marco Island, Tampa, Belleair Bluffs and Tarpon Springs, and a marketing office in Cashiers, N.C. The newest office opened in November in downtown St. Petersburg. “Originally, our offices in Sanibel, Naples and Tampa were each named after the towns where they were located, however, growth became a challenge with geographic specific names,” said Chief Executive Officer Terry Igo. “The strategy served us very well in the early years, but as we grew to serve clients beyond the corporate footprint, we knew it was time for a change, and we are thrilled.” “Achieving this milestone speaks to the talent and hard work of our dedicated team members, and the confidence our clients have in this company,” said Al Hanser, Founder and Chairman. “We’ve also been very fortunate to have deep talent and dedication from our local board members who For the fifth consecutive year, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank was named the Best Bank in The News Press’ 2025 Best of the Best Fort Myers Community Choice Awards.
