Mainstreet Community Bank of Florida announced that Paul Rountree has been named president of Mainstreet Community Bank of Florida. CEO W. Ben Flowers, Jr. made the exciting announcement on the eve of Mainstreet’s 20th anniversary.
Capital City Bank has named Dustin Bowden vice president. Bowden began his Capital City Bank career in September 2021 as a client experience manager and was promoted to the position of regional experience manager in February 2023. As regional

Flowers has held both president and CEO roles at Mainstreet for the bank’s first 20 years. Flowers said: “Paul has been an integral part of our success and growth. His vision, energy and banking savvy will continue Mainstreet’s mission of being a leading community bank that focuses on providing superior customer service to our clients in Central Florida.” Rountree is a veteran banker in Central Florida and has been a member of Mainstreet’s executive team for the past eight years, leading the bank’s Central Florida division. Rountree stated: “I am so excited to continue helping Mainstreet grow and succeed in all our markets. We will continue to build our brand in the Central Florida region.”

Dasher vice president. Dasher joined Capital City Bank as a wealth advisor in September
2022, bringing more than seven years of experience in the financial industry and 13 years of experience in charitable gift planning and development with Florida State University. In July 2023, Dasher transitioned within the company, joining its Private Banking team. As a private banker, Dasher serves as a single point of contact providing comprehensive advice on every aspect of financial life — from deposit accounts and loans to investments and insurance, including retirement planning, estate and tax planning and risk management. He is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. Dasher is an active community volunteer, currently serving as a member of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Council, Tallahassee Quarterback Club, Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and Economic Club of Florida.
