7%. NRF's annual holiday spending survey estimates that consumers will spend almost $1,000 on holiday purchases this year, which is above the 2020 total but below the pre-pandemic high of $1,047.83. Deloitte predicts that the average per household for 2021 holiday spending is $1,463. E-commerce sales, too, are expected to climb 11-15% between November and January.
