Describe your role for the FBA. As AVP of Membership, I wear many hats and am responsible for the FBA’s database and website. I am also involved in marketing & communications, Annual Meeting planning and vendor relations. Favorite thing about the FBA? I know it has been said by each and every staffer to be spotlighted before me, so here it is again — it’s the people aspect. The FBA staff is like family and the bankers and vendors are simply wonderful to work with. How do you spend your free time? I love spending time outdoors: camping, kayaking, and hiking on the numerous mountain bike trails around Tallahassee. When not in the woods, you can find me reading or painting animals and insects in watercolor or acrylics.

What's your favorite book? Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen is my all-time favorite book. Even though it’s over 200 years old, it’s still a joy to read — it’s got it all: romance, comedy and scandal. I love the overall message that first impressions are often wrong. What do you listen to on your morning commute? I listen to feel-good nostalgic music from my youth to get pumped for the day: AC/DC ( Back in Black is my No. 1 go to), Grateful Dead, ABBA and KC & The Sunshine Band to name a few.
