DAVID SPRINGOB AND JOHN KENAWELL, TWO FORMER LEADERS OF CATHOLIC FINANCIAL LIFE, PASSED AWAY IN AUGUST. WE ARE SADDENED BY THEIR PASSING AND REMEMBER THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES IN OUR PRAYERS. In Remembrance OF PAST LEADERS

David L. Springob David served as Catholic Family Life Insurance (CFLI) President and Chairman of the Board from 1968-1995. He accomplished much during his tenure as President, but perhaps his most significant achievement was the merger of Union Saint-Jean Baptiste (USJB) into CFLI in 1991. He served on numerous boards including Badger Mutual Insurance, Ministry Healthcare, Milwaukee Catholic Home and others. He passed away in August at the age of 88. David leaves behind his best friend and wife, Ruth, four children, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

John F. Kenawell A life-long fraternalist, John served as National President of the Catholic Knights of America and a Board member of Catholic Financial Life. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. John was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manchester, Missouri where he volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He passed away unexpectedly in August at the age of 76. John leaves behind his dear wife of 54 years, Linda, their five children and 11 grandchildren.

Eternal rest grant unto David and John, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace.
