The history of Tony’s Pasta Shop & Trattoria began in 1908 when the restaurant’s building served as the carriage house for then Chattanooga Mayor, T.C. Thompson. Thompson’s mansion was restored as a bed and breakfast home for Bluff View Inn, leaving the carriage house as the ideal location for a family-owned restaurant. Tony’s Pasta Shop & Trattoria (commonly
renovated five times- allowing for more seating and service opportunities.
