J ust recently Chattanooga was named by Forbes Advisor in Forbes Magazine as one of the top destinations in the world to visit in 2023. One of 50 worldwide, and only 11 other U.S. destinations earned this distinction. Chattanooga was the only Tennessee city on the Forbes list. Barbara King, a Forbes Advisor contributor said, “Chattanooga effortlessly blends outdoor activities, art, history and a vibrant restaurant scene” to make it Tennessee’s top travel destination. Spring is the time we finally get out and experience all the great outdoor activities the Chattanooga region has to offer. One amazing place to explore is the Tennessee Riverwalk. It’s a great place to walk, jog, bike or even hopping on an e-scooter or e-bike. Hiking to one of the spectacular overlooks should also be high on your list. First-class events abound during the spring season so be sure and see what’s going on in town while you’re here.
