Oct 16 7 BRIDGES MARATHON / COOLIDGE PARK The 7 Bridges Marathon starts at Coolidge Park near the Big Blue Rhino (and the Chattanooga Theatre) on Tremont Avenue. The new course crosses the 4 bridges downtown and 3 “upgraded” bridges on the North Chick Greenway. The course is road, concrete, and asphalt. Aid stations and bathroom facilities are available almost every mile. www.sevenbridgesmarathon.com/7-bridges marathon Oct 21 CREATIVE DISCOVERY MUSEUM DRINK & DISCOVERY: WITCH’S BREW Creative Discovery Museum is closing the museum to kids and letting adults 21 and up explore with a drink in hand and alongside friends on Friday, October 21 from 7 - 10 p.m. Wear your costume while you listen to ghost stories, create your own witchy wand, and participate in a broom relay race. Guests will also get to hunt for the perfect spell to conjure a potion! Admission includes access to the museum’s exhibits, a costume contest, and light snacks. www.cdmfun.org/event/drink-and-discover witchs-brew Oct 22 BREWTOBERFEST BEER FESTIVAL You can hike or bike the “Beer Path” leading you to the famous Lula Lake and Lula Falls, while stopping for beer tasters along the way. Drinker ticket includes beer, Stanley souvenir stein, tasty bites, axe throwing, access to beer path trail, live music from Jaguar Shark. Supporting Lula Lake conservation. Oct 14 - 16 CHATTANOOGA MOTORCAR FESTIVAL The three-day Festival returns for 2022 and will include a Concours d’Elegance, the Canossa Fall Rally Chattanooga, The Pace Grand Prix at The Bend, a Mecum Auctions event, and many more family-friendly activities.
