The Xscapers Sturgis Fourth of July Con vergence was an event to remember, bringing together 90 RVs and 150 people for a week of excitement, community and fun. Held at the scenic Sturgis View Camp ground, this event was packed with diverse activities that catered to everyone’s inter ests and created a memorable experience for all attendees. A s participants arrived, they were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the tone for the event. The initial welcome included a thorough event check-in and welcoming announcements, making sure everyone felt right at home. Many attendees had just traveled from the 63rd Escapade in Rock Springs, Wyoming, bringing with them fresh energy and excitement. The opening festivities featured an open bar and a great game of “Get to Know You” BINGO, which encouraged attendees to engage with one another while sharing interesting facts about themselves. The Convergence emphasized community bonding with unique and fun events that encouraged attendees to mingle and get to know each other over drinks and food. The onsite beer barn and pavilion quickly became
a popular spot for socializing and relaxation, offering a unique and fun atmosphere where attendees could unwind with a cold beverage and a breathtaking view. A highlight of the week was the Scavenger Hunt, a creative and engaging activity that took teams all over the town of Sturgis. Participants explored popular landmarks, businesses and artwork, and engaged with strangers to take silly photos. This activity not only provided a fun challenge but also helped attendees get to know the town early on, encouraging them to explore more in depth as the week progressed. Team “Trivia Happy Hour” brought out the competitive spirit, as groups battled wits in a lively trivia contest all centered around the theme of America and Independence Day. Live music was a staple during the week, with performances by Camp Comfort, a rock/reggae band from the Black Hills that entertained with their dynamic tunes. Although the planned “Open Mic and Karaoke Night” was canceled, attendees were treated to a special surprise performance by Atlas Falls, a rock band from Rock Springs, Wyoming. The band had previously wowed the crowd at Escapade, and their energetic performance at the Sturgis Convergence was no differ ent. The audience was blown away, and the night turned into an unforgettable musical experience. The fi rst ever ‘Mustache Monday’ added a quirky twist, inviting everyone to sport their best (or most hilarious) mustaches. The theme carried on into the
