It has been an excellent summer, and I can’t believe it has come to an end! Xscapers are gearing up for another exciting fall/winter Convergence season and winding down from some really great summer events. I n July, the Xscapers gathered for their annual Fourth of July Convergence in the picturesque town of Salida, Colorado. Attendees were treated to an action packed week fi lled with exciting activities, live music and opportunities for connection and adventure. On arrival day, participants were greeted with a warm welcome and a happy hour to kick off the festivities. As the sun began to set, the Dirty Groovers, a band local to Salida, took the stage, fi lling the air with lively tunes and setting the tone for the memorable week ahead. Day two started with a delightful potluck brunch where attendees shared delicious food and engaged in lively conversations. The Pluck Norris Trio, a bluegrass band hailing from northern Colorado, serenaded the crowd with their impressive musical skills, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere, in spite of the uncooperative weather. In the evening, section block parties brought together attendees for a night of fun conversations and laughter. These block parties offered attendees a great opportunity to get to know their neighbors and catch up with old friends.
