A discussion in the Escapees RV forum pointed us to the Goldline RV cover by Eevelle. This brand was reportedly more durable than others, and the RVers who had one were happy with it. We discovered the Goldline RV covers are made with a seven-ply Marine Grade fabric called Marinex that is similar to the Sunbrella fabric used on patio chair cushions and awnings. While an RV cover made from Sunbrella fabric sounds great, it would be impossibly heavy, and dangerous, to maneuver it up onto the roof of an RV.

When we changed from being full-time RVers to seasonal RVers, we suddenly faced the dilemma of how to protect the gelcoat and the graphics decals on the exte rior of our new Genesis Supreme toy hauler while it sat outdoors in theo ff -season. We don’t get snow where we live, but the UV rays are intense, so we decided to get a fabric RV cover.
