What better place to hold a spook-tacular Halloween Convergence than historical New Orleans! Join your fellow Xscapers for an ex citing week, fi lled with jazz parades, gators and food! Our venue, the Shrine on Airline is centrally located in Jefferson Parish, with quick access to downtown. The surrounding area offers a multitude of amenities and activity opportunities. The Xscapers will be taking over one of their lots to use as a home base for our Halloween event. Put on your best costumes and get ready for a uniquely NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) experience. A jazz band will march us through the French Quarter for our very own costume parade, complete with police escort. Gather your team and get ready for some pub style trivia. We’ll also play some other fun games throughout the evening. We’ll enjoy a catered dinner highlighting creole cuisine. Special Notice : This venue is located in a suburban area. There will be traf fi c noise and the standard hustle and bustle that comes with parking near a large city. We will be parked in a standard parking lot with no amenities. There will be no direct access to water or electricity. Generator use may be heavy for attendees that do not have solar capabilities. We will limit generator use to daytime hours but you should be prepared for generator noise throughout the day. This convergence may not be suited for the faint of heart, the noise sensitive or the early to bed. Remember, this ain’t your grandma’s RV rally.
