returning to downtown Las Vegas for a week brimming with thrills and chills. Parked right on Fremont Street, attendees are in for a week of delectable food and exhilarating parties. The lineup includes a haunted lot crawl, a costume contest and cocktail hour and a wild Vegas photo scavenger hunt, ensuring this Convergence will be etched into the annals of Xscapers history. As winter approaches, many Xscapers are contem plating their holiday plans. Ever wondered what RVers do during the festive season? While some full-time RVers may journey back to their families for Thanksgiving and Christmas, many Xscapers prefer to forge their own festive gatherings within their nomadic communities. This year, Xscapers’ very own Carla Geyer #173023 will host the inaugural Xscapers Friendsgiving Convergence. Nestled against the Pinto Mountains Wilderness, this event is just fi ve minutes from the amenities of Twentynine Palms, CA, and a mere 10 minutes from the northeastern entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Attendees can look forward to an array of activities designed to foster commu nity spirit, including live music, block parties, a “Desert Magic” themed lot crawl, a catered dinner, guided star gazing and a Friendsgiving potluck. The event also offers ample opportunities to explore the surrounding area, with planned off-roading excursions, group fi eld trips to locales like Pioneer Town and Slab City and even an optional rock-climbing adventure in the breathtaking Joshua Tree National Park. This event promises to delight everyone in attendance, so grab your tickets while they last.
As summer drew to a close, Xscapers gath ered in Bishop, California, for a laid-back event that exuded a nostalgic vibe. The week was abuzz with community-driven activi ties, featuring live-music performances by talented Xscapers members, a lively photo scavenger hunt that encouraged explora tion of Bishop’s charms and spirited games of team trivia and party bingo. Throughout the week, attendees seized opportunities to immerse themselves in the local scene while supporting nearby businesses. O ur group didn’t just take over a local brewery for a vibrant happy hour, we also descended upon the quaint town’s bowling alley for an evening of good-natured competition. The pinnacle of the event saw attendees venturing into the mountains to bask in the beauty of Convict Lake with its clear blue waters and stunning vistas providing the perfect backdrop to cap off the festivities. The week culminated in the Xscapers’ fi rst-ever toga party, where attendees indulged in silly games and danced beneath the starlit sky.
