A Word from Our Group Director By JIMMY AND LOCKIE SAILER #130519, Chapter/BoF Directors

Hello friends! 2022 has been an adventure. We are winding up the year with the fl urry of holidays and the season. For all the veterans, we offer sincere thanks, from the bottom of our hearts, for the sacri fi ces you and your families have given to our country and the world. With out you, we wouldn’t have the freedom each Escapee enjoys today. We try to remember to be thankful every day, but Thanksgiving is a special moment to remind us that we need to pause and consider all the wonderful things we’ve received and even those we haven’t. In December, among all the twinkling lights and sparkling bows, our families spend time remembering our reason for the season. We set aside special time for family and think of those far away.

Also, if you have an idea for a new special interest group Bird of a Feather (BoF), don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’ll work with you to make the dream a reality. We are happy to assist you with everything you’ll need to “lead and succeed,” whether starting up a new BoF or branching out with a new chapter in your area.
